Tornado Charlie – a Pet Rescue Story
Here is an update on Charlie. Charlie was one of the Pickens County, Georgia tornado puppies that was recused and fostered at a home in Blue RIdge, GA.
He now has a permanent home. According to his new family, he is still growing and continues to me a huge ball of energy. He LOVES to run and wrestle with his big brother. Charlie is about 30 pounds and growing. Even though Charlies brother (Dexter) has 35 pounds on him, Charlie enjoys running Dexter down when playing in the yard.
A few weeks ago he went to a motorcycle rally in the woods of North Carolina. He had a blast chasing his brother around and exploring all the different sights and smells.
Charlie is still working on his training, but he has picked up an interest in treadmill running. Here is a link to a video of him during a typical weekday work out.
